Description
A 700W solar panel for residential photovoltaic arrays. At this output it sits in the range most Nigerian home systems are built around: a typical 3-bedroom system using around 8 kWh a day needs roughly 3–4 kWp, which is four to six panels of this class.
Panel wattage is only half the decision. The features that determine real output in a hot, dusty, sometimes cloudy climate are the cell type, whether the cells are half-cut, and the temperature coefficient. Our guide to solar panel technologies explains the difference between polycrystalline, monocrystalline, half-cut, PERC and TOPCon, and which of them actually earns its price in Nigeria.
How many you need depends almost entirely on your location. Peak sun hours range from about 3.5 in Lagos and Port Harcourt to 5.0+ in Kano, so the same household can need a noticeably smaller array in the north. Work that out first with our peak sun hours and panel sizing guide.
Full manufacturer specification, cell type, dimensions and warranty are available on request — ask us before you order, and we will confirm the panel matches the rest of your system.
